What “Fully Fitted” Means

The exact inclusions vary by package and by boat. A confirmed fitted quote generally covers these stages.

1. Boat assessment

We confirm the correct horsepower, shaft length and setup for your hull and intended use.

2. Supply and installation

The outboard is fitted and connected to the controls, steering, fuel and electrical systems included in your quote.

3. Setup and handover

We complete the agreed checks, explain the setup and outline the servicing requirements.

Important pricing information: Specials are subject to availability. Final fitted pricing is confirmed after we review your boat and the required installation. Controls, gauges, steering, propeller, batteries, removal of the existing engine, freight and additional fuel-system, electrical or transom work may affect the final price. Images may be illustrative.

What Can Change the Final Fitted Price?

Every repower is slightly different. The final quote depends on what is already fitted to your boat and what needs to be replaced or upgraded.

  • New or reusable controls, gauges and wiring
  • Steering system maintance or upgeades
  • Batteries, isolation switches and electrical work
  • Fuel lines, filters and tank connections
  • Removal/trade-in and disposal of the existing outboard
  • Any transom repairs or reinforcement required
  • Any dash modifications or gauge blanks
  • Any boat modifications to suit new remote box
  • Propeller upgrade
  • NMEA 2000 network installation
  • Protective rigging sleeve

Outboard Special Questions

Is the advertised price the final price for every boat?

No. The advertised figure is the starting fitted price for the stated package. We confirm the final price after checking your boat, existing rigging and any additional installation requirements.

Can you quote an outboard that is not shown in the specials?

Yes. Tell us about your boat and the horsepower range you are considering. We can discuss other suitable Mercury or Suzuki options, subject to availability.

How do I know which horsepower is right for my boat?

The correct choice depends on the hull rating, boat weight, typical load and how you use it. We assess those details before recommending a package.

Can my existing controls or gauges be reused?

Sometimes, but compatibility and condition need to be checked. We will confirm what can be retained and what needs to be replaced in the fitted quote.
